Parking Lot

The first project redesigns the Art and Architecture School’s parking lot. Parking is consolidated into a single structure and pushed underground.  In doing so, nature reclaims the area and it becomes more than just a parking lot; it becomes a place for students to interact outside of the school.  The approach to the building intends to evoke the idea of discovery, as the building reveals itself as the car turns toward it, or as the pedestrians emerge from the trees, over the road.
