Elevation
The elevation for the building is very much related to the parking lot. The facade is a rock formation overlooking a forest. The inspiration for the project was a piece of raw marble. Like the marble, the facade shines and sparkles during the day and glows at night, as the light from the building emerged out. The skeleton of the form is derived from a series of patterns that were offset or mirrored. Points were then connected to mask its regularity, mimicking how a broken rock can appear randomly jagged but, in fact, broke in a predictable manner.
